Pacific Northwest Coastal Styled Engagement Photography with Rescue Dogs

I sat here for a while trying to start the intro for this blog post, but it's pretty tricky to succinctly talk about how much you adore the couple in the photos (Damian & Mags are long time close friends) and how obsessed you are with the images from this amazing engagement session - complete with Rue & Riggins, Mags & Damian's two adorable pitbull pups.

It always warms my heart to get the chance to work with friends and family, and it's a bonus when furbabies are involved.  When I mentioned to my floral bestie, Keita from Smashing Petals, that the dogs would be coming to this session she instantly asked about creating floral collars and also created a completely stunning bouquet for Mags!  I can't believe how cute the collars turned out and how formal it looks on each of these sweet pups.  We capped our day by chowing down on South Fork Cake Company's custom cakes while the dogs enjoyed their bully sticks in the car, all set with the coastal waters off Deception Pass State Park as our backdrop.  PS: You MUST check out the salted caramel filling available for these cakes.  It's incredible.  I love how Katherine's work with these cakes echoes the blue of the water with icing texture inspired by the rocky beach.  Make sure to read all the way until the end of the post for credits and links to each of the vendors that helped make this engagement session so stunning!
